Our History

1976
Albert Speck takes over the joinery from Alois Uttinger at Widenstrasse 15 in Oberwil. As a sole trader, he starts with one joiner and an apprentice. The business grows in the 1980s to seven employees.

1990
Albert Speck acquires the joinery of Willy Waltenspül at Dorfstrasse 37 in Allenwinden. The company is converted into Albert Speck AG and production is partly relocated to Allenwinden.

2000
All production is concentrated in Allenwinden.

2001
Opening of the showroom at Artherstrasse 120 in Oberwil-Zug, the former family bakery of Albert Speck.

2010
Handover to the second generation. Roland Speck becomes managing director.

2015
Opening of the kitchen showroom in Allenwinden.

2026
Albert Speck AG turns 50 and celebrates its anniversary with 250 customers, partners, and friends at the Burgbachsaal in Zug. With a comprehensive modernisation of production, office, consultation process, the Allenwinden kitchen showroom, the Oberwil shopfront, and website, the leadership trio of Roland, Rahel, and Marcel Speck together lay the foundation for the next chapter of the family business.
